Safe Arrival for International Students

SD8's International Program Coordinator Works Magic

The Kootenay Lake International Program has been working all summer to coordinate and ensure safe arrivals of international students. We are welcoming 75 students from 13 different countries into 11 schools. As we know, flight changes and cancellations have been a sudden and unpleasant reminder that COVID continues to ripple through our lives. However, with the amazing work our International Program Coordinator Shannon Ellis has done, students are safely arriving in our communities.

Thank you to all the schools who have welcomed international students and huge gratitude to Shannon for her tireless work for our program and students.
