Pink Shirt Day, BC SPCA Visits, Read-a-thon and More

ARES held a school wide assembly on Pink Shirt Day on February 22  before buddy classes gathered to brainstorm ways to demonstrate kindness. This year’s slogan “Lift Each Other Up” is about connection and how we can learn to support one another.

Several classes at ARES also enjoyed a presentation from the BC SPCA, asked questions about how wild animals are impacted by humans, and found the time to read over 100,000 minutes during the ARES Read-a-thon!
